Ann Willeford Lowe Morefield was called Mother, MeMe, sister, Aunt Patsy and
friend. She was always smiling and had a delightful personality. She loved
her family, home and church. She went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ on June 7, 2017.
was born to Plen and Vista Willeford on October 29, 1929 near Greenville,
Texas. She was the baby of 9 children. She always spoke fondly of her
childhood explaining her sisters and brothers were fun, helpful and
influential. After high school, while working a Henson Lingerie factory, she
met a World War II veteran, William Morgan Lowe. Morgan and Patsy became man
and wife on July 30, 1949 and settled down in Greenville. Two years later, on
December 2, 1951, they became proud parents to Patricia Karen. A new General
Motors car assembly plant opened in Arlington, Texas, and few years after
Karenís birth, Morgan and Patsy bought a brand new home in Arlington and
Morgan went to work at the GM plant. Soon after they moved to Arlington, they
discovered another child was coming. On December 29, 1956, another girl,
Paula Sharon, was born.
was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan, who died in 1977 and Melvin
Morefield her second husband, who died in 2004. She is survived by daughters
Karen Lowe Scott and husband Brent, and Paula Lowe Harle and husband, James;
grandchildren, Matthew Morgan Scott and wife Elizabeth, Cody Chance Scott and
wife Anne, Sara Harle Corujo and husband Luchiano and James Morgan Harle;
great grandchildren Chance Christoper and Katie Grace Scott and Luchiano
Isaac Corujo; one sister Ruth Fant and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
