Hazel Merle Fugitt, 95, of Greenville, passed away on
February 8, 2018 at the Oak Manor Nursing Home in Commerce. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb.
12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev.
Jerry Mizer officiating. Burial will
follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00
p.m. at the funeral home.
Hazel was born on May 11, 1922 in McKinney, Texas to Ernest
Lee and Sophia Adline Davis Long. She
married Lee Edwin Fugitt on May 28, 1968 in Tyler, Texas. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal
Hazel is survived by her sons, Howard D. McDonald of
Greenville, Harvey Allen McDonald of Greenville, Ricky Lynn McDonald of Tyler;
daughters, Mary Louise Ishmael of Greenville, Glennie Faye Broughton of Big
Sandy, Freda Gayle Taylor of Campbell; half-brother, Micky Long of Kansas; half-sister,
Jackie Lou Knight of Oregon; 20 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 10
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Rex
L. McDonald, Jr.; brothers, William (Bill) Long, Olis Albert Long;
half-brother, Jerry Wayne Long; and sister, Erma Lee Smith.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
