Charles Edward Daniels

Charles Edward Daniels, Sr., 92 of Greenville, passed away
on July 5, 2022, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13,
2022, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev.
Charles Faulkner, Rev. Anthony Andrews, Rev. Perry Molett, Jr. and Rev. Philip Dukes officiating. A graveside service will be held on Thursday,
July 14, 2022, at 10:15 A.M. at the D/FW National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek
Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
Charles was born September 4, 1929, in Center Point, Hunt
County, Texas to Hiram and Rosa Lee Moton Daniels. He married Billie Jean Smallwood on July 1,
1954, in Greenville, Texas. He was an
assembler for ESCO Manufacturing Company for 25 years. After his retirement he worked as a crossing
guard for Greenville ISD. He was an
active member of Rising Star Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where he
served as an Elder of the church. He was
also a member with the American Legion and Elks lodge.
Charles is survived by his wife of 68 years Billie Jean
Daniels, Daughters LaTrena Royal (Joel deceased), Paula Molett (Perry Jr.),
Sons, Charles Edward Daniels, Jr., Stacy Daniels (Kym). Brothers, Joel Daniels (Regina), James
Daniels; Sister, Helen Daniels; grandchildren, Aarika Green (Nicholas), Ebonie
Royal, Cherysse Daniels, Tyler Daniels, Perry Molett III, Paul Molett. Great-grandchildren, Isaiah Ferguson, Mikayla
Ferguson, Jordan Ferguson, Abrianna Green, Amaiya Molett, Nylah Molett, Arian
Molett and Ayanna Daniels. And a host of
nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hiram and Rosa Lee
Daniels, and his brothers Wilburn Daniels, N.J. Daniels, Franklin Daniels,
Theodore Daniels, Gussie Daniels, Obie Daniels and sister Hazel Isabel.
Pallbearers will be James Daniels, Perry Molett III, Jordan
Ferguson, Donnell Edwards, Chilton Lee, Jack Mallard.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joel Daniels, Isaiah
Ferguson and Cornell Blakely. Church Resolution of Respect for Charles

trials are, or how big your mountain seem; The Lord is there to see you through; He'll go to all extremes. So if your cross seems hard to bear; and you know not what to
do; The One who loves you most of all will be there to see you
through. We are in place in this world for a limited time, and with the
breath of the infant begins the race to the grave. A race everyone must run. WHERE AS, in the providence of GOD, He has brought to a close the life of Charles Daniels Sr. The officers and members of Grateful Fellowship Community Church, in Desoto, Texas where, Ivory
