Gladys Lavon Hyden
Gladys Lavon Ford Hyden, 93, of Greenville, passed away on September 17, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral
services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Grissom officiating. Interment will
follow the service at Humboldt Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00
PM to 8:00 PM. Gladys was born on
December 3, 1928, in the Neyland community in Hunt County to William Austin
Ford and Fannie Jewell Steen Ford.
Gladys married Billy Lawrence Hyden on August 31, 1946, in Greenville,
Texas. Gladys was a retired hairdresser
and a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Greenville. Gladys is survived
by her sons, Michael Hyden and wife, Cindy, Ronald Hyden and wife, Carolyn, and
Randy Hyden and wife, Marie, daughters, Pamela Kay Baxley and husband, Bill,
and Tonya Hill and husband, Glen; grandchildren, Sonya Brincefield Mistretta,
Laura Hyden, Keith Brincefield, Kristie Michie and husband, Stephen, Tony
Hyden, Monica Hyden, Lisa Falls Lema, Phillip Hyden and wife, Kandace, April
Kemper and husband, Jeff, Aaron Hyden and wife, Mandy, Brandon Hill and wife,
Michelle, Justin Hill and wife, Rachel; and twenty- two great grandchildren,
two great-great grandchildren. Gladys is preceded
in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and one brother. Pallbearers are Tony Hyden, Aaron Hyden, Brandon Hill,
Justin Hill, and Keenan Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Brincefield, Phillip Hyden and James Austin Hyden.
