Linda Sue Stanford

Linda Sue Stanford, 80, of McKinney, passed away on July 10, 2023, at Baylor Scott and White hospital in Plano, Texas. Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2023, in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Reagan and Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating. Interment will follow the service at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Linda was born on July 8, 1943, in Greenville, Texas to Jesse Roy Dickey and Lola Mae Lindley. Linda married Jody W. Stanford on June 16, 1962, in Greenville, Texas. Linda was a retired teachers aide from Greenville ISD and a member of River Oaks Church. Linda was a true servant of the Lord. Everyone who knew Linda knew her as Memaw, she always displayed an unconditional love. Her grandkids were her world, and she loved watching them grow. Memaw was involved in every aspect of her grandkids lives. Memaw always had a way of making everyone and everything feel important no matter the situation.
Linda is survived by sons Joel Stanford and wife Jennifer, Jeffery Stanford and wife Kristi, Steve Stanford and wife Tracy, grandchildren Taylor Fortner, Kaitlyn Reed and husband Robert, Ansley Stanford, Hudson Stanford, Tyler Stanford, and great grandchildren Avery, Tatum and Logan Fortner and Grayson Reed.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband in 2020, her parents and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Robert Reed, Denzel Young, Keith Reeves, Chris Nichol, Rodney Wright and Jeff Stanford.
