Willard Glen Spoonemore

Willard Glen Spoonemore, 80, of Celeste, passed away on January 18, 2024, at his residence. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Mr. Spoonemore was born May 29, 1943, in Greenville, Texas, to Willard Clay Spoonemore and Donnie Odette Fitzgerald. He married Billie Frances Compton on March 6, 1964, in McKinney, Texas. He was a cowboy and rancher who loved the outdoors but most importantly, he was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather.

He is survived by his son, Joey Spoonemore and wife, Tonya; daughter, Sharon Spoonemore Fetty and husband, Courtney; grandchildren, Blake Spoonemore and wife, Manon, Cassidy McDaniel and husband, Hunter, Caitlyn LaRoe and husband, Dallas, Bailey Spoonemore and boyfriend, Garrett, Jadelyn Andrews, Rachel Griffith and husband, Cory, Heather Douglas and husband, Travis; great-grandchildren, Addalyn Kay McDaniel, Lucy Sue LaRoe, and Lowen Kaye LaRoe.

He was preceded in death by his wife Billie Frances Spoonemore; parents; son, Billy Glen Spoonemore; and brothers, Lynn and Benny Spoonemore.
