Charles Edward Cloud

Charles Edward Cloud, 90, of Greenville, passed away on May 28, 2024, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 3, 2024, at Tidwell Cemetery with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Charles was born on December 18, 1933, in New Braunfels, Texas, to Charles F. (Pete) Cloud and Virgie Mae Constable Cloud. Charles met the love of his life Lora Nell King. They were married on December 21, 1954, in Bangs, Texas. Charles was a Navy Veteran and spent his time in the service on the USS Bream which was a diesel submarine during the Korean War. Charles was a Mason, a member of the Eastern Star, and a Shriner. Charles loved to go square dancing and camping with Nell, they recently celebrated 69 years of marriage. Charles was a member of the Old Concord Baptist Church.
Charles is survived by his wife Lora Nell Cloud, and daughter Debra Scott and husband Clifford.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents.
