Wendy Elizabeth Taylor

Wendy Elizabeth Taylor, 82, of Greenville, passed away on September 11, 2024, at her residence with her loving husband by her side. A celebration of life will be at 10:00 AM Friday, September 27, 2024, at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. John Foster officiating.

Wendy was born on July 11, 1942, in Timaru, New Zealand to Alexander Rodgers and Phillis Dean Rodgers. Wendy was a certified medical assistant, a certified librarian, and an upholstery finisher. Wendy Married the love of her life Jerry Taylor on August 23, 1969, in Timaru, New Zealand. Wendy was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

Wendy is survived by her husband; Jerry Taylor of Greenville, son; Scott Taylor and wife Summer of Tampa, Florida, granddaughter; Alyssa Taylor of Tampa, Florida, brothers; Tony Rodgers and wife Betty, Timothy Rodgers and wife Helen, Jeff Rodgers, David Rodgers, sisters; Veda Chappell, Marie Giles and husband Ross, Maureen Sadler and Zoe Lendel.

Wendy is preceded in death by her parents, sister Paulene Peterson, and brother Alan Rodgers.
