Robert Earl Vice
May 10, 1956 - October 14, 2024

Robert Earl Vice, 68, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.
Robert was born to Bobby and Jeanette Vice on May 10, 1956, in Greenville, TX. He married Nandale (Bowman) on November 15, 1974, in Lone Oak, TX. After 34 years of being ''the chip man'' in Farmersville and Princeton, Robert retired from Frito-Lay and continued his love for sales and people with Vice's Fireworks.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren - teaching them how to pop fireworks, raise cows, plant and harvest a garden, drive the Gator and his tractor. Their favorite time together was eating popsicles on the porch and playing outside.
Robert was an active member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and had a strong faith in the Lord. He knew where he was going and was at peace with the end of his physical journey on earth. He served on the Lone Oak ISD School Board for 18 years and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Nandale; sons, Wesley of CT and Ryan and wife, Rebecca of Melissa, TX; grandchildren, Alexandra and Henry; brother, Benny and wife, Sharon; sister, Lynette Ketchum and husband, Noble; and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Gary Bowman.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy You, Casey Pollard, Jeff Hawkinson, Eric Ketchum, Brently Vice, Jarrett Willson and Bryan Ragsdale.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Bowman, Benny Vice, Noble Ketchum, Mark Eldridge, Tim Gilbert, Jack Cooley, Eddie Bell, Lester Hunt, Ricky Porter and Scott Sly.
In lieu of flowers, Robert requested donations be made to Lone Oak Cemetery.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2:00 p.m. at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Cook and Rev. Jordan Velazco officiating. Interment will be in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
The Vice Family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to VITAS Healthcare of Greenville for their compassion, guidance and care. To Mary S, Cori, Amanda, Donna, Claire, Theresa and Julie - we are forever grateful.
