Julie Ann Bearden, 72, of Cumby, Texas, passed away on December 26, 2024, at Christus Mother Frances in Tyler, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Chaplain Mark Crumpton. Burial will follow at Sunny Point Cemetery in Cumby, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
Julie was born August 15, 1952, in Greenville, Texas to Murray and Freeda Lindsey Crumpton. She married Jerry Bearden on August 22, 1970, in Cumby, Texas. She was a retired librarian for the Campbell I.S.D. and was of the Baptist faith.
Julie is survived by her husband, Jerry Bearden; mother, Freeda Crumpton Brewer; sons, Jerry Wayne Bearden and wife, Stacy, Stoney Bearden and wife, Angie, Joshua Bearden and wife, Beth; brothers, Dale Crumpton and wife, Kay, Mark Crumpton; sisters-in-law, Sandra Satterwhite and husband, Gerry, Jenie Crumpton; grandchildren, Courtney Crumpton, Clay Bearden, Kaelie Odonald, Justin Bearden, Abbygale Bearden, Jesse Bearden, Jenna Bearden, Jacob Bearden, Bryce Bearden, Ryleigh Bearden, Beau Bearden; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Scarlet, Denver, Brady, Jasper and Sammie.
She is preceded in death by her father, Murray Crumpton and brother, Joe Crumpton.
Pallbearers will be Bryce Bearden, Clay Bearden, Jacob Bearden, Jenna Bearden, Jesse Bearden and Justin Bearden. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Crumpton, Mark Crumpton and Gerry Satterwhite.
