David Laroy Dale
May 19, 1944 - August 5, 2025

David Laroy Dale, 81, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away August 5, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White of Dallas. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

David was born May 19, 1944, in Wolfe City, Texas to Arledge and Mae Warwick Dale. He served his country in the United States Army. He married Nellie Ruth Dickeson on June 24, 1966, in Floyd, Texas. The two were married for 59 years.

David discovered his passion for linework during his time in the military, where he first trained as a lineman. That passion carried him through a dedicated 40-year career, where he took pride in every pole he climbed and every storm he helped restore power to. David was a member of the Church of Christ.

David loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids. He loved to fish, hunt, golf and camp; anything that involved getting his family together was his priority. He was truly a family man and loved by so many.

David is survived by his wife, Nellie Ruth Dale; son, Rodney Laroy Dale and wife, Christy; daughter, Angela Dale-Fair and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Jordyn Morales, Taylor Dale, Levi Dale, Logan Dale; and great-grandsons, Crimson Morales and Kannon Morales.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Martha Ann Dale.
