He was preceded in death by his grandparents, whose legacy of love and strength helped shape the man he became.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville, with Rev. Brian Bosworth officiating and Rev. Dr. LaVelle Hendricks offering the eulogy. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M., prior to the service, at the church. Michael will be laid to rest at Memoryland Memorial Park.
