Anna Kara

Anna Kara, 66, of Leonard, Texas, passed away on November 20, 2025 in Greenville, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Anna was born September 16, 1959 in Cicero, Illinois to Alexander Kara, Sr. and Joan Marie La Roche. She worked rehabbing wildlife in need and animal rescue. Anna was very passionate and stood strong on her beliefs, but also a loving woman and mother.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Humphries; son, Kevin Durancik; two brothers Allan Kara and Danny Kara; sister Belinda Kara.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Jamie Kara.
