Sherlyne Landrum Evans
November 15, 1950 - December 15, 2025

Sherlyne Landrum Evans, lovingly known as ''Sherlynee'' or ''Blanche,'' of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the age of 75, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Born on November 15, 1950, in Greenville, she was the cherished daughter of O.B. Landrum Jr. and Patsy Rue Wineinger, both of whom preceded her in death.

Sherlyne devoted 30 years of dedicated service to Raytheon's payroll department, affectionately referred to as ''payrow'' in her own words, where she was known for her commitment, warmth, and collaborative spirit. Her professionalism and genuine kindness earned her deep respect from colleagues both locally and nationwide.

As committed as she was to her work, Sherlyne's heart belonged first and foremost to the Lord and to her family. She was the proud and loving mother of two daughters, Tanya Evans and Michelle Millsap. Granddaughters Courtney Millsap and Kayla Millsap, Great Grandmother to Jace Millsap, and a devoted sister to Connie Landrum-Garfield, she had nieces and many cousins she adored.

To her family and friends, Sherlyne was known for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and a smile that could light up any room. She never met a stranger and had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel loved and welcomed.

A woman of deep faith, Sherlyne loved the Lord and found great joy in attending church when she could. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now completely healed and celebrating in heaven, reunited with Jesus, her parents, and loved ones.

She loved simple pleasures, especially television and once joked with her daughters that when she passed, she wanted to be cremated and placed ''in front of the TV to watch all day.''

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Mom was a Proverbs kind of momma. She loved her family fiercely and she would want everyone to know, she loved you.
