Stella Jo Ricketson
March 16, 1929 - January 21, 2026

Stella Jo Ricketson, 96, of Greenville, Texas, formerly of Paris, passed away at Countryside Senior Living on January 21, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Stella was born March 16, 1929, in Tigertown, Texas, to James William Bailey and Laura Etta Littrell Kirby. She married Louis Ricketson on October 18, 1946, in Caviness, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Martin; granddaughter, Jennifer Auanger and husband, Thomas. Great granddaughter Kassidi Sewell and husband Preston. Great grandson Evan Hill. And other relatives.

Mrs. Ricketson dedicated many years of her life as the site director of the Pshigoda Senior Center and traveling the country with seniors to ensure everyone had a chance to visit places they would otherwise never have the opportunity to experience.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, her siblings and two of her children.

A private family graveside service will be held.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
