Ronnie Lamb
June 5, 1939 - February 27, 2026
Ronald (Ronnie) Sims Lamb, 86, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on February 27, 2026. He was born on June 5, 1939, in Greenville, Texas, to Bernard and Ava Lamb.
Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard from 1958 to 1962. Following his service, he worked for many years for McLean Trucking and later Consolidated Freight, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable man.
Ronald lived life with enthusiasm. He loved movies, participating in dirt track car racing(as a young man), motorcycling, boating, fishing with his wife, baking, singing, dancing with his wife, attending horse races, and traveling. One of his greatest joys was simply talking with people - he could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He was known for his corny jokes, his strong opinions, and his polite, well-mannered nature.

Above all, Ronald was a devoted family man. His wife, Diane Lamb, was the love of his life, and the two were rarely ever apart. Together they built a life centered around family, faith, and love. He instilled the values of integrity, respect, and self-reliance in his daughters, always reminding them there was nothing they couldn't accomplish.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Lamb; his daughters, Cindy Lamb, Kristi Lamb, Raeanne Hagin and her husband David Hagin; his grandson, Jordan Hagin; brother-in-law, Eddie Harris and wife, Pam; nieces, Shannon Harris, Shelley Garrett; and his nephew, Mike Lamb.
