Geraldine ''Gerry'' Frazier Tharp, 89, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 4, 2026 in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Corbet and Mrs. Joelle Compton officiating. Gerry was born on December 31, 1936 in Seymour, Texas to H.J. (Jack) Frazier and Agnes Weathered Frazier. She married Clarence Thomas Tharp on April 19, 1957 in Abilene, Texas. She opened the first florist in Emory, Texas in the late 1970's and was the office manager in the other family businesses. She was a loving mom and ''Nana'' to her children and grandchildren. The last couple of years she has been active in the Bras for Cause that Briarcliff submits and with her "Gerry Touch" naturally she won several awards. Most people think that going to a nursing home isn't a positive thing, but not for Gerry, she made so many cherished friendships and truly thrived. She wanted to be a part of every activity and stay active.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Tharp and wife, Charlotte; grandchildren, Chasey Tharp and wife, Stephanie, Chelsea Hughes and husband, Houston, and Trey Honeycutt and wife, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Lexie Tharp, Henry, Dylan, and Carala Hughes, Trenton Honeycutt, and Loran and Ayla Strickler; sisters, JoAnn Denning and Charlene Bremer; sister-in-law, Lavera Tharp; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Tharp; son, Lynn Tharp; sisters, Geneva, Billie, Nellie, Naomi, Frances and Linda; infant sisters, Ivy and Maxine; brothers, Preston Frazier and Jack Frazier; and brother-in-law, Paul Tharp.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Briarcliff Healthcare for all of the love and compassion given to our Mom and Nana.
