Kay Kerr Kennedy
September 13, 1941 - March 15, 2026

Kay Kerr Kennedy passed away at her home on March 15, 2026 at the age of 84.

She was born on September 13, 1941 in Emory, Texas to Dude and Reba Skidmore. She married Buel W. Kerr in 1960 and had two daughters. In 1991, she married John W. Kennedy and was widowed in 2023. She as employed at Wal-Mart for 20 years, where she beloved by employees and customers alike.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Kerr of Rowlett; sister, Neva Hogue of Rockwall and sister, Phyllis Watkins of Pickton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her daughter; her parents, and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
