Virginia Mary Chalaire
March 15, 1951 - April 17, 2026

Virginia Mary Chalaire, 75, of Commerce, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home
on April 17, 2026. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at
St. William Catholic Church with Father Samuel Martinez officiating. A rosary will be
held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Jim Starr officiating and visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Virginia was born March 15, 1951, at West Point, New York, to Joseph Panzarella and
Theresa Popowick. She married Ronald Chalaire on July 22, 2005, in Greenville,
Texas. She was a compassionate and loving nurse for 30 years, where she primarily worked in the nursery caring for newborn babies. She was an active member of St. William Catholic Church.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Ronald Chalaire; son, Mark Skipalis and wife, Toni;
daughter, Cara Davis; brother, Thomas Taylor and wife, Anji; sister, Donna De La
Cruz and husband, Sal; grandchildren, Porter Skipalis, Will Skipalis, Ema Skipalis and
Jackson Davis; step-children, David Chalaire and wife, Beth, Dennis Chalaire and wife,
Dawn, Tommy Chalaire and wife, Tricia and Kathy Linder; step-grandchildren, Audrey
Chalaire, Chloe Chalaire, Grant Chalaire, Luke Chalaire, Case Chalaire, Hayes Chalaire
and Tyler Linder.

She is preceded in death by her parents and step-father, James Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Chalaire, Tommy Chalaire, Thomas Taylor, Marco Varela,
Porter Skipalis and Will Skipalis.
