Larry Keith (Russ) Norwood, 74, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 in Rockwall, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Payne and Mrs. Brittany Sims officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Vansickle Cemetery.

Russ was born on October 21, 1951 in Greenville, Texas to John Norwood and Peggy Lewis Norwood. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1970 and attended ETSU in Commerce. He married Pamela Lynn Woodard on December 16, 1995 in Greenville, Texas. He worked for E-Systems for 19 years and then began working in 2010 for Compart Global Systems Technologies and served as their CEO from 2017 to 2023. He enjoyed golfing, grilling, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Norwood; sons, Jeff Deas and wife, Holly, and Bryan Deas; daughter, Holly Deas Stallins; grandsons, Jacob Stallins and J.D. Peters; granddaughter, Brittany Sims and husband, Brian; great-grandson, Kyson Wade; brother, Denny Norwood; sister, Brenda Norwood Raymond; nieces, Kali Davis, Katherine Ramos and husband, John, Sarah Kym and Brooke Fitzgerald Nieto; nephews, Melbourne Kym III, and Jared Fitzgerald; great-nieces and nephews, Logan Davis, Jack Davis, Grace Ramos and Ivan Ramos; sister-in-law, Janet Hogland; and cousin, Kyle Lewis and wife, Barbara.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Deas, Bryan Deas, Jacob Stallins, Logan Davis, Jack Davis, John Ramos, Melbourne Kym III and Jared Fitzgerald.
