Gary Don Blunt, 74, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in Quinlan, Texas. No services are planned at this time. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gary was born on October 7, 1951 in Greenville, Texas to Cleeteon Blunt and Dorothy Jacks. He worked for several different printing companies for many years as a bindery and printer operator. He was a loved dad to his daughter and Pepa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Hix and son-in-law, Allen Hix; two grandsons and wives, Troy Woodson Jr., and wife, McKayla Woodson and Tyler Woodson and wife, Kaylee Woodson; three great-granddaughters, Elara, Laramie and Calli; and his little buddy and furry grandson, Asher.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
