Sgt. Philip Michael McBride, 75, of Weatherford, passed away on June 4, 2026 at his residence. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denver Hines officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wieland Cemetery.

Philip was born on August 23, 1950 in Wills Point, Texas to John Albert McBride and Sadie Marie Rohus. He married Corda Faye Morgan on February 17, 1977 in Hunt County, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by wife Faye McBride; Daughters, Mindy Sager and husband, Jason and Tracy McBride; sons, Michael McBride and wife,Soari and Jerry Clayton; granddaughters, Stacy Sampley and Garrett, Amy McBride, Kimberly McBride, Whitney Jernigan and husband, Ryan, and Amber McBride; grandsons, Shane Carver and wife, Allea, Dakota McBride, Zach McBride, Rex McBride; great -granddaughters, Scarlett, Sterling, Sullivan, Lydia and Lyona; great- grandsons, Stetson, Statler and Briar; and brother, Bobby McBride and wife, Donna.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Sadie McBride; brothers, Roy McBride and Terry McBride.

Pallbearers will be Jason Sager, Shane Carver, Ryan Jernigan and Garrett Sampley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stetson, Statler and Briar.
