Becky Jean Isbell
July 19, 1938 - July 13, 2026

Becky Jean Isbell, 87, of Portales New Mexico and many other places she called home over the years, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas. A graveside service will be 11 A.M., Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas with Rev. Steve Payne officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Becky was born on July 19, 1938 in Greenville, Texas to Raymond Purcell and Alice (Purcell) Moon. She married Johnny Ray Isbell on October 13, 1956 in Portales, New Mexico. She was an amazing artist who worked in several different galleries and owned Goliad Gallery in Rockwall, Texas. Later, she owned Smackover General Store in El Dorado Arkansas. She loved life and her family dearly. Everyone who she came in contact with was greeted with her loving smile.

She is survived by a sister, Cynthia Purcell Pippins, her son, Matt Isbell (Alise) of Houston, Texas, daughter, Amanda Isbell of Little Rock, Arkansas, daughter, Melissa McKinnon (Brent) of Pittsburg, Texas, daughter, Melody Martin (Christian) of Irving, Texas, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister and brother.
