Phillip Dale Kay
December 16, 1948 - August 8, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing and relocation to ''The Golden Streets of Heaven,'' of our beloved brother and Uncle, Phillip Dale Kay.

He went to be with Jesus on August 8, 2026, he was 77 years old. Born December 16, 1948 to Marjorie and Horace Kay.

Dale was one of God's special needs children rooting from a brain injury caused by a fall at 2 years of age, yet he lived a full and active life. He never met a stranger and if you knew him, you loved him.

His last residence was Greenville Health and Rehab, where he proudly served as the ''Official Door Greeter'' and ''Sign-in Location Specialist,'' leaving behind many friends and a great staff.

Dale is preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Kay Corley, his biological father, his two older brothers, Ted Guyton and Ken Guyton, his younger sister, Denise Rogers and his two nephews, whom he loved beyond all John ''Johnny'' Nailling and Scott ''Scotty'' Guyton.

He leaves behind a brother, Joel Kay and Sue Dean of Greenville, a sister, Deborah Nailling and husband, John Nailling of Greenville, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

It leaves a hole in our hearts; no one can ever fill. Dale will be laid to rest next to his beloved mother at Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas
