Bobby Ray Coker, 92, of Greenville, Texas, formerly of West Tawakoni, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026 in Greenville, Texas. A Masonic graveside will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Cumby Cemetery with Rev. Danny Moore officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bobby was born on July 9, 1934 in Celeste, Texas to Robert Tilton Coker and Palijo Hedric. He was raised in Lamar County, Texas near Paris. He graduated from Delmar High School in 1952. Bob was in the insurance business; he owned and operated a Farmers Insurance Agency.

He is survived by Sonya Coker; his sons, Marc Coker and wife, Shelly and Spencer Coker and wife, Karen; daughter, Cyndi Ybarra and husband, Daniel; brothers, Jim Coker and wife, Marie and Ben Coker and wife, Jeanne; sister, Nelda Harrell and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Brad Coker, James Coker and wife, Laura, Victoria Allison and husband, Brandon, Kaitlyn Bustillos and husband, Edgar, Chloe' Jarratt and husband, Blaine, and Matthew Coker; fourteen great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Margie Coker, Ann Chandler, Betty Powers; brother, Roy Coker and Leon Coker.
