Clarence "Mutt" Ray Way

Clarence Ray Way, 93, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on July 22, 2026 in Greenville, Texas. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 29, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Farmersville with Dr. Bart Barber officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Clarence was born on January 29, 1933 in Prague, Oklahoma to Granville Frank Way and Lura Coffey. He married Peggy Aileen Stewart on February 10, 1973 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Way; his son, Shelby Way and wife, Lesley, of Tulum, Mexico and four sisters, Pat Menger, Donna Hurley and husband George, Paula Hurt and Debbie Rusher, all of Mustang, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Elzia and four of his eight sisters Rosalie Spencer, Phyllis Way, Carol Horton and Dottie Parasich.
