Wiley Alvin Fults

Wiley Alvin Fults, 88, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on September 29, 2026. He was a resident at Briarcliff Health Center. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, with Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Wiley was born October 18, 1937, in Ladonia, Texas, to George Raymond and Jimmie Lou Turner Fults. He worked for Temco/LTV/E-Systems/Raytheon for 35 years retiring as an engineer.
When Wiley and Diana Sue Cook married on May 8, 1981, her dedication and care expanded his life with a new circle of love, family and lifelong friends. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Following retirement, they traveled extensively, visiting all 50 states, many ocean cruises, beautiful islands, and several foreign countries. In addition to his travels, he devoted much of his after-retirement life to his church and community. He volunteered at the local food bank, designed and helped build many ramps for the physically challenged. He was an active member of the Golden Kiwanis and flipped pancakes with the best of them. Wiley was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Tony Fults and wife, Valencia; Jon Derek Funderburk and wife, Christi; daughters, Patricia Beare and husband, Jerry, Jill Wickersham and husband, Brad; brother, Bobby Fults and wife Charlene; grandchildren, Joshua Stewart Fults and wife, Jennifer, Lucas J. Fults, Jillian Nichols Curb and husband, Kevin, Jack Nichols, Brayden Funderburk, Jerry ''Wayne'' Beare, Jr. and wife, Lupita, Angela Dawn Kirshon, Monica Lynne Johnston and husband, Matt, Chad Andrew Tucker and wife, Tiffani; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Raymond Fults and Jimmie Lou Fults (Turner) ; wife Diana Sue Fults and sisters, Brenda Baxley, husband Travis Baxley and Glenda Davenport and husband Billy Davenport.
Pallbearers will be Tony Fults, Derek Funderburk, Jack Nichols, Jerry Beare, Wayne Beare & Kyle Fults.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tom McAllister, Bill Green, Kenneth Rolen, Larry Mayo, John Adams and Charles Adams.
