Jerri and I were friends in high school and roommates for a short time at A&M. She was smart, funny, sarcastic and unfortunately for me loved Barry Manilow when we lived together🙄. We used to prank each other, joined a service fraternity together and generally had a good time. The last time I saw her was at my Dad's 80th birthday party, 2 yr ago. I hadn't seen her much before that and it was good to see her and catch up. I was sad to hear of her passing. I can still see her smile and the looks she used to give me. She is a light that will be missed and never forgotten. I still share our stories and laugh. I have been praying for her family during this unexpected loss and wish them peace.

I will miss Jerilynn. I enjoyed being able to refer clients to her and to assist her when she needed. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her.

Hope it's OK to post twice. Jerrilynn was such a special friend to me ever since we graduated in 1980 from GHS. She taught me so much when we were in college and boy did we have fun! I know she made me a better person and I hope I did the same for her. I loved our conversations. She was so witty and so so smart! That sharp tongue could never hide how generous her heart was. Her love of justice and her compassion for all was deep and abiding. That's probably why she "retired" to family law after getting sick of the corporate law rat race. These last few years it seemed that forgiveness was a theme in our conversations. She was a supportive friend and generous pro bono lawyer when my dad was hospitalized last year. I will miss our phone calls and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven. Jerrilynn know that I love you dear dear friend!

My thoughts and prayers are with you. What a decade of loss! My heart is heavy that y'all have had so much to bear. May the Lord bring you comfort and peace, and may your loss show the love you have for each other, binding you ever closer to each other and to the Lord.
    Peace in Christ,
    Maura (Bracken) Klimisch

So very saddened by the loss of Jerrilyn. My thoughts, prayers and tears are with her family. Jerrilyn had a big heart for helping others. She was a force of nature, and you always noticed when she entered a room. Whether her beautiful blond hair, smile, wit or infectious laugh; she was one that dared you not to notice her.
When she left this earth, she left a void no one else will ever fill. I miss her presence on this earth, but rejoice in the Lord and pray for her soul and family.
    God bless you all!
