Harper Lynn Rodriguez,
11, of Denison, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Chuck Francey officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the
funeral home.
Harper was born
October 8, 2010, in Ada, Oklahoma to Candice Marie Cooper and Israel
Rodriguez. She was in the 5th grade at B. McDaniel
Intermediate School. She was an active child who was passionate
and loved her family. She cared for animals as well, especially her dog
Miss Sassy Pepperoni (Pep-ins for short), who was
her constant companion. She enjoyed school and was great at math and
art. You can find some of her artistic creations hanging around the house if
you were to visit. She enjoyed playing with her siblings and many cousins and
meeting new people. She had a passion for creating things and using
her makeup to express herself. She was always joyful and it was contagious.
You could not help but be in a good mood when you were around her. This is
possibly why her dad Israel spoiled her so much. She was so talented
and ambitious and everyone knows she would be successful in her
already set career goal as a model and actress. She was even fortunate enough
do some acting in the summer of 2021 in Orlando, Florida for a show by Premiere
called Go Iguanas, Season 6. Surely the bells were ringing in heaven as she
entered the gates.
She is survived by her
mother, Candice Cooper; father, Israel Rodriguez; brother, Haydin Butler;
sister, Hannah Butler; her grandma, Audrey Cook and papa Chuck Barron, pawpaw
Freddy Cooper and MiMi Misty, and Abuela Rosa Cisneros; aunts, Echo
Cooper, Tiffaney Cooper, and Jasmine Cooper; uncles, Kyle Cooper, Nathan
Jenkins and wife Jayla, and Ramiro Rodriguez and Lucy; great-aunts, Renee (Aunt
Nae) and Uncle Chuck Francey, Charice Zaehringer and Uncle Preston;
cousins, Morgan and Logan Green, Jamison and Archer Felts, Britnie, Chris,
Gavin, and Maddie Rosenbalm, Seth and Jack Zaehringer, Karter Goss- Jenkins,
Skylar, and Mason Champion, Meliah Rodriguez, Taylah Rodriguez, Ramon
Rodriguez, Tristen Rodriguez, Lylah Rodriguez, Junior Rodriguez, and Baby
Alfredo Pablo Rodriguez; great-cousins, Billy (wife Laurin), CJ, and Nicholas
Francey; her beloved puppy, Miss Sassy Pepperoni (Pep-ins); and numerous
extended family members that love her dearly.
She was preceded in
death by her grandmas, Betty, Dorothy, and Rena, Papa Clyde and her uncle,
Ramon Rodriguez.
Her honorary
Pallbearers will be: Haydin Butler, Logan Green, Jamison Felts, Archer Felts,
Brandon Moore, and Gavin Rosenbalm.
In lieu of flowers,
the family requests donations be made to Coker-Mathews Funeral Home to help
cover funeral expenses.
Harper was a burst of sunshine…. in a pint-sized body.
