Linda Lord Farmer

Linda Lord Farmer ''Mawmaw', 79, of Greenville passed away on August 1, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM, in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Morgan officiating, visitation will be Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest beside her husband in Point Enterprise Cemetery, Mexia, Texas on August 8, 2023.

Linda was born on July 12, 1944, in Corsicana, Texas to Milton Lord and Winnie Jewel Murrell Lord. Linda was a beautician and loved spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her son, James Donald Farmer and wife Tammy of Whitehouse, Texas, daughter, Vivian Renee Farmer and companion, Donald Jeffrey of Athens, Texas, daughter, Melissa Kay Farmer of Greenville, Texas, sister, Margret Yates and Judy Blanton, grandchildren, Michael ''Mac'' Pennington and wife, Crystal, Brandon Box and wife Misty, Shane Box and wife, Sarenadee, Joseph Farmer and wife, Emily, Sara Warren and husband, Andrew, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, James Melvin Farmer in 1994, parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Farmer, John Farmer, Clay Farmer, Wallace McDonald, Tim Clem, Lakota Box, David Cole Pennington and Kaleb Yarbrough.
