Niki spent most of her life in Oak Cliff. She had a close relationship with her grandmother who lived next door & they both shared a passion for books. She had a love for Bishop Arts, & always found joy in the little things around her. Niki was very family oriented, loving, caring & compassionate. She had such a beautiful soul.
Niki met the love of her life, Scott, the summer of 2016 and married July 21, 2021. Herself & the children then moved to Greenville. She loved nothing more than her family. She enjoyed taking family vacations and traveling. We are reminded that even though Niki lived a short life, she left a big imprint on those she loved and left behind. She lived a beautiful life with joy in her heart. She loved each of her children deeply & her animals Max and Lady. She will be missed tremendously.
We can find some solace in knowing her and Scott are together.
She is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Isabel Ojeda, Lillian Ojeda and Payton Proctor; father, Robert Horton; mother, Charlotte Torres; sisters, Christa Bussell and Jettie Horton; brothers, Randy Horton and Jeffrey Horton and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Niki is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher "Scott" Talley, brother, Dalton Horton and grandparents, Joan and DeWayne White.
Visitation and memorial service is planned on Wednesday, August 23rd at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Cullen officiating.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
