He loved old cars and spent time with his Dad building them. He owned Southern Fashion, Perisian Cleaners for many years. His goal in life was always to make people laugh. He learned to repeat jokes that he memorized from records from the time he was five years old. He said that was when he first started being cute. He loved all kinds of music. He sang, played the guitar, and performed all over Greenville for years. He was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir every Sunday. His voice and wonderful sense of humor will be missed.
He is survived by his sisters, Sherrye Hubbs and Kathye Allen; brother, Chris Allen, three nephews and a niece.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Gann, Larry Davis, Tye Hubbs, Kodye Hubbs, Doug King, Charles Sively, Steve Shipp and Forrest Kennedy.
Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Adult Choir, 1200 E. Joe Ramsey Blvd., Greenville, Texas 75402
