Lenora Ann Mayo, 85, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Hight and Rev. Ronnie Baker officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Mayo was born August 13, 1938, in Bivins, Texas, to Willie D. Blue and Corinne Vaughn Blue. She married H.W. Mayo on April 9, 1960, in Atlanta, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her daughter, Velvet Ann Baker and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Lindsay Locke and husband, Shane Locke, Brandi Ashley and husband, Dale, Mitchell Baker and wife, Stephanie; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.W. Mayo and son, Paul Mayo.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Baker, Mitchell Baker, Shane Locke, Lucas Locke, Joel Burton, and Dale Ashley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Derrell Felts, Ray Robnett and Keith Elliott.

    Dear family of Lenora Ann Mayo, please accept my apologizes on behalf of my family and I not attending the ceremony for this sweet lady, as we had previous engagements. We want you to know that we thinking of you in your time of sorrow with regards to her passing.

    While our hearts are heavy, we know that heaven must be celebrating her arrival, her suffering has made her prefect in her new life in the Kingdom and Jesus must be well pleased with her life on earth as she touched so many people.
