He is preceded in death by his sister Arlene Cawood.
During his service in the US Army, Jerry was stationed in Hawaii, an experience he cherished throughout his life. After retiring from Texas Instruments, he dedicated himself to ranching, where he found purpose and fulfillment. Jerry had a passion for the outdoors, often spending his days fishing and caring for his land and cattle. His love for country music, particularly the classic hits, reflected his appreciation for life's simple pleasures and a rural lifestyle.
A loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, Jerry enjoyed supporting his favorite teams. Jerry's legacy of hard work, love for family, and appreciation for the great outdoors will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
