Robert Dwayne McCutchen, 62, of Greenville, Texas passed away September 2, 2024 at Medical City Hospital of Dallas. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Coker Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville Texas.
Robert was born August 28, 1962 in Newport, Rhode Island to Robert Louis and Norma Jean Stults McCutchen. He had a love for people which was obvious in everything he did. Robert always had a special smile on his face and was full of joy. He absolutely loved his job at Brookshire's and worked until his health declined. As always, Robert wanted to be a part of his community and was often seen helping out at many community events. He was very active in Hunt County Special Olympics and had many medals to prove his competitive nature. He loved music, especially anything Elvis, dancing, fishing, the Dallas Cowboys, and just going out to eat with friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by stepsons Justin Fomby and wife Courtney, Josh Fomby and wife Ilona, stepdaughter Jana Fomby McCoy, grandchildren Adelynne Fomby, Clinton McCoy, Renee Gray, and close friend Rick Kohn.
The family wishes to take this time to thank everyone who helped Robert and made him feel special.
Memorials may be made to Hunt County Special Olympics.
