David Keith Gibson, 38, of Greenville, surrounded by family went to his
eternal home on November 30, 2024, in Dallas, TX. Funeral services will be 10:30
A.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with
Dr. Tommy Mann and Rev. Ron Hight officiating. Interment will follow the service
at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

David was born March 27, 1986, in Dallas, Texas to Michael and Renee Gibson. He graduated high school in 2005 from Greenville High School where he played varsity soccer. After high school, he attended Blinn College in Bryan, TX and then transferred to University of North Texas in Denton, TX where he graduated with a bachelors degree. His son Jaxson Keith was born in 2018 and was the light of his life. When he wasn't spending time with Jaxson or family, he enjoyed being with his friends grilling out, listening to music, watching movies and sports. He loved the Texas Aggies, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Cowboys and attended games as often as he could. His friends will remember him as the life of the party and continuously keeping everyone laughing.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Renee Gibson; son, Jaxson Gibson; sister and brother-in-law, Jarrod and Christina Sharp; grandfather, David Watson; nieces, Callie and Lillie Sharp and multiple uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Rita Gibson, and grandmother, Oweta Watson.

Pallbearers will be Jarrod Sharp, Charlie Nassar, Shane Sickles, Cody Murphey, Colton Murphey, Chase Oliver, and Justin Moon.
