Mr. Hughes was born July 4, 1964, in Garland, Texas, to Gale Roland Hughes, Sr., and Patricia Scotch Hughes. He married Laura Myers on October 20, 1990, in Mesquite, Texas. He worked as a General Superintendent for Midwest Drywall.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Hughes; children, Jake and Jacquelyn Hughes, Samantha and Trent Maxwell; mother, Patricia Hughes; sister Tracy Feagin and family; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gale Roland Hughes, Sr.; sister, Patti Hughes; and uncle, Louis Scotch.
