Hope Rivera, 74, of Greenville, passed away early on the morning of December 8, 2024, at her home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2024, at Living Word Church in Greenville with Rev. Jose Mota officiating. Burial will follow the service at Memoryland Memorial Park, Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Hope was born on April 7, 1950, in Eddy, Texas to Cristobal Mungia and Margeret Trevino Mungia. Hope was a member of Living Word Church. Hope and her husband would have celebrated 50 beautiful years together this coming February. Hope was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family.
Hope is survived by her husband Federico Rivera, sons; Freddie Mungia and wife Tiffany, Michael Torres, daughters; Victoria Enriquez and husband Angel, Melissa Mungia and husband John Carr, Blanca Balli and husband Jerry, brothers; Roy Mungia, Julian Mungia, sisters; Margeret Ortiz, Ruthy Flores, Sandy Mungia, Olivia Mungia, Amy Mungia, grandchildren; Joel Castro, Gabriel Torres, Jocelyn Dyson-Mungia, Amber Torres, Chris Mungia, Vanessa Mungia, Destiny Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Nehemiah Jarvis, , Jase Mungia, Maddie Mungia, Jonathen Carr, Bryson Enriquez, Hilary Balli, Javier Balli, great-grandchildren; Aria Castro, Mateo Reyes, Avayah Castro, Ezra Martinez and Cataleya Reyes.
Hope is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Angel Castro, Chris Mungia, Gabriel Torres, Jacob Martinez, John Carr, Angel Enriquez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jase Mungia, Jonathen Carr, and Bryson Enriquez.
