Byron E. Lamb, 81, of Garland, Texas, passed away December 17, 2024, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Lake Pointe, Rowlett, Texas. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cumby, with Pastor Jack Bany officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Byron was born May 8, 1943, in Cooper, Texas to Lahoy and Grace A. Smith Lamb. He served his country in the US Navy. He married Bobbie A. Bishop on February 13, 1960, in Dallas, Texas. He worked as a Flight Director.
Byron is survived by his wife, Bobbie A. Lamb; and son, Carl Lamb and wife, Sandra.
He is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
