Sybil married the love of her life, David French, on September 6, 1962, and they shared 63 beautiful years together. She was a proud mother to Lisa Cook and David French, and her family expanded with the addition of grandchildren Adriana Cook, Patrick Cook, and five great-grandchildren: Gracie, Leilani, Preston, Alex, and Casey.
Throughout her life, Sybil worked at various establishments, including Sears, Texas Instruments, Hendricks Medical Center, and Primary Care Associates. Her caring nature also led her to become a devoted caregiver to her family members.
Sybil's parents, Macel Bolser and Orville Massey, and brothers Glen Massey and Jerry Massey, predeceased her. However, her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched.
Sybil was known for her spicy spirit and generous love. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching cooking and game shows, shopping, and pampering herself with hair and nail appointments. Her famous cinnamon candy was a holiday tradition that brought joy to many.
A visitation will be held at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 1 pm, followed by a service at 2 pm.
Sybil's family and friends will deeply miss her presence, but her legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her.
