Betty Jean Jackson, 89, of Greenville, passed away on February 17, 2025, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2025, at Memoryland Memorial Park with Mr. Mike Miller officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Betty was born on October 19, 1935, in Minco, Oklahoma to Otis Franklin Adams and Nellie Bell Johnson Adams. Betty married Carl William Jackson on March 12, 1954, in Minco, Oklahoma, she attended Greenville Church of Christ. Betty was a homemaker and previously worked at Sweetie's Donuts and Mary Of Puddin Hill during the Christmas Season.
Betty is survived by her son; Benny Jackson and wife Teri, daughters; Sherri Kizziar, Donna Jackson Goss and husband Larry, grandchildren; Melissa Sullivan and husband Kevin, Nathan Jones and wife Kelly, Kristen Kee and husband Carlos, Kyle Kizziar, Dr. T.J. Goss and wife Mikayle, Chris Goss, Allen Goss, great-grandchildren; Kaylee, Kenny Dale, Maddison, Kayla, Olivia, Teddy, Sophie, Maverick, Kimber, John, Isabella, Emma, Sarah, Breanna, Jace, great-great-grandchildren; Maggie, Karter, and brother; J.T. Adams and wife Norma June.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Cleota Martin, brother Troy Adams, sister Joyce Seward, sister Bobbie Kirkegard, and brother Bill Adams.
Pallbearers will be Dr. T.J. Goss, Bubba Nicholson, Tyler Nicholson, Cody Nicholson, Nathan Jones and Carlos Kee. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Kizziar, Kevin Sullivan and Kenny Dale Sullivan.
