My sincere condolences to your family. Derrell was always a joy to be around. I had the privilege of getting to know him when we were both a part of Vansickle Baptist Worship team. He was such a faithful member and a wonderful musician. He will be missed.

What a treasure he was. I regarded Darrell as a dear friend, always ready to spread the joy of life that he gladly shared with anyone he ever met. With a twinkle in his eye and a wry sense of humor, Darrell and I could talk for hours about nothing and everything. He could entertain me with his stories along with the abundant musical talent that was enjoyed by so many for so long. Death of a dear one is tragic and painful but, I intend to revel in the joy that Darrel spread and I will forever remember only the good times with him. I loved the man.

  5. Enola Gay Lunsford
To the family of Derrell I send my most sincere sympathy. Terrell was a very sweet man. I met him about 15 yrs ago and immediately loved him. I have enjoyed sharing music with him and loved him playing his guitar for me to sing. He is going to be so missed, but will never forgotten. I will miss hearing your sweet voice saying "Hi there Enola Gay!" Until we meet again...
