Richard Garcia, 62, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on April 8, 2025, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 14, 2025, at Iglesia Bautista Hispana Ridgecrest with Brother Jose Amaya officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church on Monday, April 14, 2025. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Richard was born November 1, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to Gonzalo Garcia and Trinidad DeLeon. He married Maria Castillo in Greenville, Texas on August 8, 1992. He was a hard worker and beloved father and grandfather. He was a member of Iglesia Bautista Hispana Ridgecrest for many years and enjoyed helping where help was needed. He was also involved in the community with Hands of Compassion, Fish Ministry, For the City and Chaplain in the county jail. He will be missed truly by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Garcia; children, Eva Castillo, Richard Luis Garcia, Moses C. Garcia, Marybeth Cruz and husband, Misael and Solomon James Garcia; parents, Gonzalo and Trinidad Garcia; brother, Joe Garcia; sisters, Teresa DeLaO husband Alfonso and Sandra Cerda husband Tony; grandchildren, Rebekah Pena, Sarah Pena, Sammuel Pena, Israel Garcia, Aaron Garcia, Moses R. Garcia, Emily Sanjuanero, Javi Sanjuanero, Kimberly Sanjuanero, and Issac Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Garcia and Gonzalo Garcia, Jr.; and nephew, John Adam Garcia.

Pallbearers will be Luis Garcia, Solomon Garcia, Javi Sanjuanero, Misael Cruz, and Moses R. Garcia
