Sheryl Faye Reeves, 69, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on July 8, 2025, at the Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Park Street Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Langford and Rev. James Seigler officiating. Burial will follow at Tidwell Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Sheryl was born June 13, 1956 in Sherman, Texas, to Dewey and Ada Faye Kennington Ramsey. She married J. W. Reeves, Jr. on April 12, 1974, in Greenville, Texas. She worked as a secretary at Memoryland Memorial Park and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, J. W. Reeves, Jr.; sons, Corey Reeves and wife, Rebecca, Colby Reeves and Candice; grandkids, Jalah Crumpton and husband, Kolton, all of Greenville, Anah Bolton and husband, Garrett of Paris, Texas, Kyler Reeves, Leah Reeves, Christen Chreene, Caitlynn Reeves, Carleigh Reeves; great-grandkids, Ezekiel Enriquez-Reeves, Kinsley Crumpton and 3 on the way, all of Greenville; siblings, Dewey R. Ramsey and wife, Sandy of Cumby, Texas, Cynthia Wood and husband, William of Chesapeake, VA.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Corey Reeves, Colby Reeves, Kyler Reeves, William Wood, Donald Duncan and Michael Fonner. Honorary pallbearers will be Timmey LaRock, Robin Hunter and Eddie Reeves.
