Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Joe Morris Parsons Sr. and her son, Joe Morris Parsons, Jr; as well as 5 siblings, Frankie Gregory, Glenn Watson, Marie Collins, Dewey Watson, and Darrell Watson.
Nancy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfe City and a homemaker. Affectionally known as ''Mamie'' to her grandchildren, she enjoyed camping in Black Cat Thicket and singing hymns along with her siblings at the annual Watson family reunion. Her children and grandchildren will fondly remember how much she loved thrifting, garage sales, and watching birds from her front porch and her daughter's lake house.
Nancy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Jerry Boggs of Emory, TX and her son James Gregory Parsons of Greenville, TX, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren; along with 6 siblings: Joe Watson, Don Watson, Jerry Watson, Medford Watson, Danny Watson, and Debra Martin. She leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the chapel at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, Texas, where Nancy will be laid to rest. The family is truly grateful for the thoughts and prayers and messages of hope they have received.
