Born on January 16, 1943, in Quinlan, Texas, she was raised in Greenville, Texas which she considered home. Paula graduated from Greenville High School and attended East Texas State University. Following her time at East Texas State, Paula worked as an American Airlines stewardess based in New York City. She worked at International Paper in Dallas where she met Mike. After marrying Mike, they lived in Dallas, DeSoto, Texas, Littleton, Colorado, and Tustin, California before returning to the Dallas area after the birth of their first grandchild. Paula finally moved to Conway, Arkansas in 2022 to be close to her children and grandchildren. Paula lived a life marked by devotion to her family, faith, and community.

Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Michael Leon Neel, who passed away in 2004. And her parents, her father, Arville Weldon Littleton who gave his life serving his country in 1944 during World War II, and her mother, Ollie Maye Littleton who passed away in 1993.

Her steadfast love and nurturing spirit continue to live on through her surviving family: her daughter, Kerry Neel Allen (husband, Ed) of Conway, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kelsey Swearengen (husband, Cole) of Sherwood, Arkansas; grandson, Will Allen (wife, Elea) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kylie Allen of Atlanta, Georgia; granddaughter, Katelyn Shields (husband, Carter) of Little Rock, Arkansas; great-grandson, William Clark Allen of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and her eagerly anticipated second great-grandson, due in January 2026, as well as many other family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A faithful member of the Robinson & Center church of Christ in Conway, Arkansas, Paula's life was anchored by her deep commitment to her family and her faith. She was a source of warmth and encouragement to all who knew her, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. Her love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.

Paula's legacy of love, faith, and resilience will be cherished by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched.
