Linda was born on October 21, 1942, in Denison, Texas, to Clarence Lee and Nadine Waymire Rowland. On August 7, 1960, she married the love of her life, Tom Poulter, in Sherman, Texas, and together they celebrated 65 years of marriage this past year.
Linda was a devoted homemaker with a passion for interior design. She loved hunting for beautiful antiques, furniture, and rugs to transform their home into a warm and welcoming haven. But above all, Linda's greatest joy was her family, especially her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she adored them with an unwavering love and devotion. Each of them knew, without a doubt, that they were the center of her world.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Tom Poulter; daughter, Mendy Poulter and husband Anthony Martinez; son, Tommy Poulter and wife Emily; brother, Tommy Rowland; sisters, Katie Hamrick, Rosemary Householder and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Claire, Ava, Ben, and Luke Poulter; Ryan Williamson and wife Daeryl; Rachel, Roland, and Aaron Poulter-Martinez; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Ty, Ira, and Winnie Williamson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nadine Rowland; her brothers, Bill and Wally Rowland; and her brother-in-law, Charles Hamrick.
Linda's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
