Born November 19,1932, in Woodson, Texas. Her parents were P. O. Shanks and Ella Spoonemore Shanks. On August 6,1954, she married Walter Boyd Shields. She was a member of Vansickle Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Mitch Shields and wife, Debbie; daughters, Renda Evans and husband, Rick and Daphne Bishop and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Misty Evans, Wendy Cook and husband, Travis, Cale Bishop, Carlee Ogle and husband, Ben, Chloe Dykes and husband, Grayson, Caidee Bishop, Kaylee Shields, and Andy Shields; 12 great-grandchildren, Hannah and Averiegh Evans, Calleigh and Calder Cook, Kaitlyn, Grace and Caroline Bishop, Mesa, Kanyon and Leddy Dykes, Charlotte and Ruth Ogle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, sisters, and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Cale Bishop, Andy Shields, Travis Cook, Ben Ogle, Grayson Dykes, Talon Lowther and Collin Strand.
