Nancy Shaw

Nancy Ann Shaw joined her heavenly father, Jesus Christ, on October 10, 2025 while surrounded by family. She loved fiercely, showed grace in forgiveness, and was the quiet strength that unified her family. Nancy was God fearing and exemplified kindness, honesty and humility.

Born on June 13, 1950 in Greenville, Texas, Nancy was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She touched the lives of many with her wit, warmth, and caring nature. The daughter of Milburn F. Anglin and Dorothy Pickens Anglin, she was a 1968 graduate of Greenville High School. While raising two daughters, she completed her bachelor's degree in accounting, graduating Suma Cum Laude from East Texas State University and earned her Certified Public Accountant license. She achieved a fulfilling career professionally as a CPA at D. L. Lennon Inc., in Commerce, TX, however her greatest prize in life was her marriage to Leslie Shaw, her children, and extended family. Nancy married Leslie on June 1, 1996. This day changed life for Les and Nancy, but also for their children in ways more wonderful than they could ever have imagined.

Her passions in life revolved around spending her time with family, gardening, traveling and raising horses with her husband, Les on their homeplace in Campbell, Texas. She loved the foaling season each spring, manicuring her flowerbeds, traveling to new places, but most of all, her family. Although she would never describe herself as such, she was truly the rock that anchored her family. Her life was a demonstration of genuine servant-leadership.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Leslie E. Shaw of Campbell, TX; daughters, Tracy Dicken of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Laura Campbell of Greenville, TX; son, Thomas Shaw of Dallas, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Nancy Anglin of Plano, TX; four grandchildren; as well as a niece, nephew and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Anglin, and father, Milburn Anglin, and Elizabeth Shaw.

Services will be held at Coker Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, TX on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. A brief visitation will be held at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, with Chaplain Mark Crumpton officiating. Interment will be at Stewart Cemetery in Campbell, TX.

Pallbearers will be Andy Anglin, Garrett Anglin, Dustin Lennon, Austin Matthews, Ron Bodin and Clint Lynch. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Anglin, Brody Anglin, David Matthews, D.L. Lennon, Tucker Plemons and Alex Carruth.

My heart is broken. I am out of state and cannot be there in person to let you know how much Nancy's friendship meant to me. She was the best of us. Beautiful in spirit with the purest soul and kindest heart. I treasure every memory of every moment we shared -- as teenagers from first crushes and dates to adulthood and marriage, through life's disappointments and heartbreaks, to finding joy again. I can hear her voice in my head...the little giggle/laugh as she shared stories of her life and her family...the joy she experienced every day...loving her family and the life she was living.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you as you grieve. I pray that your memories will soon bring you comfort, and your faith will bring you peace.

    Love,
    Joel (Steen) Reynolds

Sorry about your sister. She was a pretty lady. Thought a lot of your Dad. I remember you & Oliver remodeling the Love office.
