Billy was born born on May 31, 1952 in El Paso, Texas to Billy Gean Torris, Sr. and Eulalia D. Torris. He grew up as a child in Missori. His parents later relocated to Greenville Texas in 1968.
He graduated from Greenville High School. Billy age 18 married his school sweetheart Dorothy Smith Torris at age 16 and were married 55 years. They had two son's Billy Gean Torris III and Edward Wayne Torris
He loved his country and served in the Army from December 1970 to August 1974.
He was compassionate about old vintage cars. He loved his job as a transmission specialist for over 44 years. He met so many wonderful people during his services with the transmission business industry.
Billy was preceded in death by his son, Edward Wayne Torris, sister Valerie Torris-Earls, his father Billy Gean Torris Sr, and his mother Eulalia D Torris.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Torris; son, Billy Gean Torris III; sister's, Donna Torris, Delania Sampson and brother-in-law Shane Sampson, Tami Torris-McClain and brother-in-law Ron McClain
